How to request a player pass
About Us
Don't have enough players for your game? You can use a "player pass!" You can "borrow" a player(s) from another team.
Here are a few rules:

-A player can only play on a player pass 4 times per season (not per team, 4 times total)

-Grades 3-6: You can only use up to 3 player passes in any given game.
-Grades 7-12: you can only use up to 4 player passes in any given game.

-If you submit for a player pass and don't use it (for example, the game is rained out) - it's important to let Liz (our registrar) know.

-A player in D1 or D2 cannot play down in their own grade group. However, a Division 1 player may go to any team in a higher grade level. For the purpose of player pass, D3 through D5 is considered equal.
-If you want more info, there is more detailed player passes info in the league handbook, which is on the NVYSL website.
How to request player passes:

Below is the information needed for submitting player passes. Please give this info to your coordinator to pass on to Liz, our registrar (this is the preferred method), or email Liz directly with both age group coordinators in copy (she will not process without the age group coordinators being in the loop.)
Please use this email ( registrar@maynardyouthsoccer.org) when requesting player passes
- If 34 teams need to use a 2nd grade player - a new roster will need to be approved (for a second grader, it's not a player pass), which means we should have this info in by Thursday PM latest. However we should ALL strive to get her info by Thursday PM so that there is not a rush prior to the game.
NVYSL INFO:
The following information is needed for completing the form:
(1) Game Date and ID
(2) Host Team Name (Team Using the Guest Player)
(3) Guest Player's Name and Team they are Rostered on
-Rosters for player passes: you must bring the roster of the player joining your team on a pass, and then submit it along with your team roster. I like to highlight the player pass kid on the other roster to make it easier on the ref, and then add in the player's number (don't write anything else on the roster).
-You will get this roster from the coordinator for the player pass child's division, so you should be including both the coordinator for YOUR division, plus the coordinator for the division the player is coming from.
Example: Jane Doe needs a player for her B56 game and reaches out to Emily, coordinator for B34 to find a player who is able and interested. Once they've confirmed that player, Jane Doe reaches out to her B56 coordinator, Michel, with the player's name and rostered team, game ID and date for the game they are using the pass for. Emily and Michel then keep track of the player pass name that has been used, so that they can help monitor the "only 4 times per season" rule for each child that plays on a pass. Emily sends the B34 roster to Jane Doe, Michel G submits the requested player pass to Liz D, registrar, and Liz sends the approval back to the email chain to confirm it has been submitted. (Don't forget, Emily needs to let the email chain know if there is a rain out and player pass wasn't used.)
